A family concern
Arcadia Vineyards was founded by father and daughter Ozcan and Zeynep Arca over ten years ago. Ozcan (who has a Masters from Lancaster University) worked in engineering before founding one of Turkey’s most successful businesses in luxury tourism. Zeynep studied International Relations in Paris. They share a passion for travel, wine, gastronomy and culture. Ozcan was a producer at the renowned Dostlar Theatre Company in Istanbul, and Zeynep worked as a producer for documentaries and music videos before joining her father in the family business. She also worked numerous wine harvests in France, New Zealand, Spain and the USA.

Cool climate whites in Turkey

Arcadia is a small producer of predominantly white wines, from both native and international grapes. Their vineyards are in Northern Thrace in the old winemaking town of Luleburgaz. This cool, moderate climate and marine soils have made Arcadia particularly famous (in Turkey, and beyond) for their elegant, aromatic white wines, which are made by renowned French consultant, Michel Salgues. Arcadia Gri (a blend of Sauvignon Gris and Pinot Gris) is the wine to drink in Istanbul’s famously fabulous smart fish restaurants.

Holidays at Arcadia Vineyards

A boutique hotel and restaurant, opened in May 2015, makes Arcadia a popular stop with tourists on the Thrace Vineyard Route.
